Lily: I’m the founder of the school ! I live in Paris, where I studied sociolinguistics and philosophy. I then worked for seven years as a french teacher with several schools. After encountering many frustrations at how language schools work and teach, I decided to found my own language school. I am an author (le FLE côté Pro”- a manual on business french) and DELF/DALF examiner. I can’t wait to meet you and make you fall in love with my culture and language! 

Our teachers are all French and based in Paris, with a profound interest in engaging with our large international clientele to offer the best emersion learning of French language and culture.

ANDREA Hi! I’m an English teacher living in Lebanon with international teaching experience. I hold a CELTA certification and worked as an English coordinator for 10 years. I am here to make your learning experience as smooth as possible!

Raised in a family of passionate educators, we were inspired to create Fluent Academy with one goal in mind: to offer you the highest quality education paired with personalized care. Our dedication to teaching runs deep, and we’ve designed our programs to ensure that you not only learn French but also feel fully supported every step of the way. Frequently Asked Questions.

Are classes enough to speak french?

Well, classes with ANY language school are not enough.
Speaking a language properly requieres you to: speak, speak and speak some more!
Don't worry, we will coach you on how to use french outside classes.
For example, we have students who have French partners. Studies have shown that partners are not, in fact, the best language parents!
One practical advice for our student's couple is: setting a routine before bed and telling each other about your day in a few French sentences!

When will I see results?

From day one ! As a beginner, you will know how to introduce yourself from the first class.
For higher levels, we consolidate your previous knowledge and build from there with more complex vocabulary, grammar and structures.

How do I know my level ?

After your subscription, we will ask you to complete a test to determine your level - following which, you will be integrated to the right group for you!

What platform do you use ?

All our classes are on zoom. Before each class a zoom link and information about the schedule will be sent to you.

The homework, the flashcards and the notes will be in your canvas instructure account.

I want to learn french but the timings don't fit in my schedule!

If I'm absent for a class, how can I catch up on the missed lesson?

After each class, the teacher will provide notes and materials to the students. Don't hesitate to ask him/her questions!

What is your cancellation and refund policy ?

Every cancellation of private lessons has to be made 48h before the class. All last minute cancellations will be charged.
If you have booked the intensive morning class, the progressive evening class or any of the private class, you can get a refund in the limit of 7 days after your purchase.

Is there an option for installment payments?
