Internal Regulations

Article 1: Purpose and Scope

The purpose of these internal regulations is to define the general operating rules for the online language courses offered by Fluent Academy, as well as the rights and responsibilities of students and teachers.

Article 2: Access to Classes

1. Classes are accessible only after registration has been validated and fees have been paid in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
2. Classes are conducted exclusively online, at times agreed upon between the student and the school.
3. Zoom links and the necessary technical information will be sent by email at least 24 hours before the start of the class.

Article 3: Attendance and Punctuality

1. Students must be present at the scheduled start time of the class.
2. Any delay exceeding 15 minutes will be considered an absence.
3. Any cancellation made less than 48 hours before the class will be considered canceled without prior notice and will be charged.
4. Missed classes will not be replaced or refunded, except in cases where cancellations comply with the conditions set forth in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (CGU).

Article 4: Cancellation and Rescheduling of Classes

1. Cancellations must be made via email (bonjour@fluent.academy) at least 48 hours in advance.
2. Classes must be completed within the following timeframes: 3 months for 12-hour and 24-hour modules. 6 months for 36-hour modules.
3. Classes not used within these timeframes will be considered expired and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

Article 5: Technical and Material Requirements

1. Students must have:

• A stable internet connection.
• A quiet and suitable environment for attending classes.

2. Login credentials for the platform will be provided after registration. In case of technical issues, students must contact their technical point of contact.

Article 6: Payment of Classes

1. Payment must be made no later than 7 days before the start of the classes.
2. Fees do not include VAT or costs related to internet connectivity.

Article 7: Behavior and Mutual Respect

1. Students and teachers must demonstrate respect and courtesy.
2. Any inappropriate behavior or violation of the rules may result in immediate exclusion from the class, without refund.
3. Teachers have the authority to interrupt a class in the event of disruptive behavior.

Article 8: Confidentiality and Personal Data

1. Fluent Academy collects and stores personal information necessary for managing courses (contact details, billing, etc.).
2. Data is used in accordance with the GDPR regulations.
3. Students may request not to appear in photos/videos used for promotional purposes.

Article 9: Evaluation and Follow-up

1. Students will be evaluated every 12 hours of training to measure their progress.
2. An individual review can be requested by the student to assess their achievements and areas for improvement.

Article 10: Transaction Security

1. All bank transactions are 100% secure. Students must immediately inform the school in case of any payment issues.

Article 11: Plagiarism and Intellectual Property

1. Teaching materials provided are the intellectual property of Fluent Academy and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written authorization.

Article 12: Complaints and Disputes

1. Any complaint must be sent via email to bonjour@fluent.academy. In case of disputes, the competent courts will be those of the judicial jurisdiction in Paris, France.

Article 13: Final Clauses

1. These internal regulations are displayed on the Fluent Academy website and available upon request.
2. Any modification to the internal regulations will be communicated to students via email.

Student Commitment:

By confirming their agreement to these regulations, the student acknowledges having read and understood the established rules and agrees to comply with them.
