Fameux means famous, but can also be used ironically to mean "so-called." Example: C'est ça, ton fameux plan ? ("So this is your so-called plan?")
Je connais la musique
"Je connais la musique"= I know the music, means to be familiar with something, "I already know how this works" or "I know the drill".
